As much as I am sad about summer leaving, I was definitely happy about fall weather and my favorite, fall fashion! There’s just something about a bit of chill in the air accompanied by warm, comfortable clothing, sipping on a warm drink, watching the leaves change from green to red, orange, and brown. Okay, I can go on but I think y’all get the point. Fall is my favorite season!

I have always loved fall fashion because of the stylish/ comfort aspect that it brings. I love chunky sweaters, boots and layers. Also, the fact that you can wear the same pieces of clothing styled in so many different ways because of layering…..PERFECT!

Now let’s get into one of my fall fashion staples this season. If you haven’t already guessed it, it’s brown! This trend is one that I have seen and have been loving for fall. Nudes have been popular for quite a few seasons now but it has always been colors like creme, blush, and whites, more on the light end of the brown spectrum and closer to white. This year I have been seeing a lot of dark brown, whether it be brown leather (like what I’m wearing) or deep tan leather. Aside from leather, I am also seeing the wear of brown bags and sweaters/ sweatsuits. Brown is also being incorporated into boots and sneakers. Even in interior design, you can see brown is being used a lot. I’m honestly not mad about it one bit because brown is a color that plays beautifully with so many other colors.

In these photos, I styled myself in all brown. You can see the full outfit details below. The way the different shades of brown blended together was just *chefs kiss* If you see me rocking a lot of brown this fall/ winter, mind yo business because I’m obsessed lol.

One thing that I also wanted to mention is that fashion speaks volumes and I feel like this year more than ever, wearing how you feel on your clothing has become very trendy. It's a trend that I can get behind because also now more than ever, we need to show in many different ways what we will not accept, tolerate/stand for.
